Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are an agreement between Everything Luxe and the hirer. By renting from us, you agree to these terms. All rented goods are the hirer's responsibility until they are returned to Everything Luxe.
Rental Items & Collection and Delivery
The minimum order amount is R500. If the rental cost is below this amount, you will still be charged R500. Prices listed on our website apply to rentals for the day of the event. Arrangements for early collection late returns can be made up to a week before the event but are not guaranteed.
Rented items are only guaranteed for the event day. While we strive to accommodate early deliveries, we reserve the right to adjust delivery and collection times or dates. Self-collection and return of decor items are permitted, with the hirer assuming full responsibility for the items once in their care. If Everything Luxe is arranging for collection from the client, the client must have someone available to verify quantities upon collection. Weekend orders must be returned by Monday at 12:00, while items booked from Monday to Friday must be returned by the next day before 14:00. If the client arranges for their own couriers for collection and return, Everything Luxe takes no responsibility for any damages occurred during transportation. Once items have been received and signed for by either the client or the courier, the customer assumes full responsibility, and no objections to quantities or shortages will be accepted afterward. Late returns may result in forfeiture of your breakage deposit, with a minimum charge of R500 for delays. Collection and return times are strict. If agreed collection times are missed, and Everything Luxe has to arrange for a second collection time, additional charges will apply. Setup and breakdown services are not included. Security/Breakage/Cleaning Deposit
A refundable deposit will be charged on your order, subject to the terms and conditions. The customer agrees that any additional charges due to loss or damage will be deducted from this deposit. If the deposit is insufficient to cover the charges, the customer agrees to pay any remaining balance. The refundable deposit will be returned within 21 working days after we receive the goods in good condition, or an invoice will be sent for any shortages or breakages. If items are lost or broken, the refundable deposit may be delayed.
Cleaning Fee
- A charge of 50c per dirty returned cutlery piece.
- A charge of R2 per dirty returned underplate.
- A charge of R1 per dirty returned wine glass.
- A maximum cleaning fee of R500 per order.
Broken or Lost Items
If an item is lost or returned in an unusable condition, the hirer is responsible for the full replacement cost. Please inspect your items carefully upon collection and sign the delivery note accordingly. Report any issues with your order at this time. Once signed, you are fully responsible for the care of the items and are expected to return them in good condition.
Payment
Payments must be made via EFT to the banking details provided on your invoice. The full payment of your order is due within two days of the invoice date to secure your booking. The balance, including the refundable breakage deposit, is due three weeks before your event.
Cancellation
The deposit for the rental fee is non-refundable if you cancel your booking in part or in full. The full remaining balance is due if the booking is canceled within 30 days of the event. We reserve the right to charge 10% of your order for administrative expenses related to order changes. Order changes are allowed up to 15% less than the original booking, but increased orders are not guaranteed at the original price.
General
- Confirmed orders cannot be canceled to rebook under a new special offer.
- We do not issue quotes, as item prices are listed on the website. Once you are ready to book and pay, an invoice will be issued. Invoices are valid for two days due to limited stock of each item. Products are booked on a first-come, first-served basis once the deposit is received.
- Everything Luxe is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from the rental arrangement unless negligence on our part can be proven. All rented goods are the hirer's responsibility until returned.
- A minimum fine of R500 will be applied if products are not properly cared for. No red wine stains on tables are allowed, and products should be kept indoors and securely locked overnight.
- It is crucial that you inspect your items upon delivery and sign the delivery note. Any issues with your order should be reported at this time. Once signed, you are responsible for the items' care and their return in good condition.
